Tuesday Board Meetings
Tuesday Board Meetings

Regular Board meetings are held on the first and third Tuesday of each month. These meetings are open to the public, and public comment is usually heard. These meetings are livestreamed on Facebook. Visit the Events page for details of a specific meeting.
A typical Regular Board meeting includes:
- Introductions
- Announcements
- Agenda Approval: the Board Chair may add or remove items from the agenda.
- Public Comment: members of the public may provide comment directly to the Board. Check specific meeting agendas to see if public comment is included. Comments are typically limited to three minutes per person; but if there are many people who wish to speak, the Chair may reduce this time.
- Proclamations: various proclamations may be read to celebrate holidays (Juneteenth, Veterans Day) or commemorate historical events.
- Work Session: the Board hears and discusses updates on a variety of issues and projects.
- Consent Agenda: a group of routine items (meeting minutes, for example) the Board approves in one motion.
- Business Meeting: the Board hears from various County departments and other parties and votes to take action on a variety of issues.
